A heart beating strong inside Fortaleza city. It is to cover, include, congregate and put different people at the same table, sharing experiences and affections, which will be held the Festival Vida & Arte (FVA). Meeting point of more than 400 attractions of the most different languages, FVA will also bring in its programming many moments dedicated to spirituality. Highlights include a lecture and yoga practice led by spiritual leader Sri Prem Baba, which will be broadcast live around the world, celebrating the international day of yoga.

Founder of the global movement Awaken Love, which works on human values ​​and the awakening of loving consciousness, Sri Prem Baba divides his time between Brazil and India by giving lectures and conducting spiritual retreats. He is the author of the books Transformando o sofrimento em alegria, Amar e Ser livre and Flor do Dia, and has thousands of disciples around the world.

During the Festival, the master will also participate in a Kirtan – a millennial process that works spirituality through singing – with the Awaken Love Band; and a Satsang, a meeting also originated from the oriental traditions that allows diving into consciousness and helps in self-knowledge. The third edition of Festival Vida & Arte celebrates the 90th anniversary of the foundation of O POVO. And the celebration – as explained by journalist Luciana Dummar, president of the POVO Communication Group – is the perfect opportunity for the “home” to give back to the community all the gifts it has received over these nine decades. “My desire is to return those graces,” she says. Luciana was responsible for conducting the curatorship of the festival on the Spirituality axis. She used her experience in the area and was supported by holistic therapist Homa.

O POVO, says Luciana Dummar, is a house that receives and gives space to the opposites. “And I do not want to sing this congrats without having all these opposites sitting at the table,” she comments. For this, the Festival will have multiple spaces for people to live their own freedoms. “The purpose of this birthday party is to bring the good, the beautiful, the joy and the hope to people. My wish is that it can be an inclusive event, where differences are respected. Each person has freedom to decide what they want from religion, gender, color, shape, and what they want to be. This is an event for peace,” she says.

The lineup has several areas and covers various beliefs, figures and perspectives. “This event, for me, is a great heart beating,” concludes Luciana Dummar.

The ticket to the Festival has a unique price, and it is necessary to observe the capacity of the rooms. For the yoga class with Sri Prem Baba, scheduled for June 21, access will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
